Our name is derived from two Latin words: Aqua (water) and Ferre (to bear, carry or deliver), and that neatly describes what we do.

Aqua Ferre is a water solutions provider working across WA on projects to assist in resolving some of our water supply issues. We have current projects in the North West, Mid West, South West and in outer metropolitan areas of Perth, including the Chittering Valley.

We provide water to communities and industry, either directly or by working with government agencies.

Aqua Ferre brings together the best water strategists, engineers, hydrologists, town planners, financiers and visionary investors. A unique package of skills and contacts in water sourcing, planning, management and problem solving, as well as legal, corporate and capital raising services.

I enjoyed my day at the Bindoon show, a day of fun, families and community.

I gave me the opportunity to meet many people from the Chittering valley and I especially appreciated the hospitality of the Chittering shire who provided tent space.

I learnt that:

  • There is an urgent need for an expanded treated water scheme in the Bindoon townsite.
  • Some people have their own water provision and would not connect to an expanded scheme.
  • There is also a need for a comparable scheme in Muchea.
  • Bindoon is also facing a treated water shortage.
  • There are emerging issues in other parts of the valley where there is a reliance on tanks and shallow bores.

The good news is that there are workable solutions to all these problems and while Aqua Ferre is focused on the Bindoon townsite infrastructure upgrade we are also working on the other problems in an attempt to be one step ahead of demand. "
